V-Max, or VMAX - they've been making it since 1985 or so.

A Yamaha VMAX with a monumentally stupid exhaust, owned by someone who appears to have an allergy to corners.

Yes, and also 113 lb-ft of the good stuff. I think it's a good looking bike as well. If only it didn't weigh 700 pounds!

Cornering is for pussies, riding slow in 1st gear is what it's all about. Low speed maneuverability for the ultimate win!

V-max is a beast.
I would take one of those over a Hardly Ableson, or a clone of one, any day.
Some of those muscle bikes aren't that bad, in terms of handling... Not race-replica by any stretch, but for a street bike, they can actually handle what is do-able on most public roads by most riders.
But I have to say, I would probably go with the new highly-reviewed Moto Guzzi California 1400 instead, if I wanted a new bike in that segment. Maybe not as powerful, but not quite as cartoonish, either.
But I would prefer a different type... more like Guzzi's Griso, or BMW's new R-NineT. A bit lighter and more nimble, and not so brutal.
